Each Vance.Net customer is entitled to a certain amount of free web or ftp space with each dial up account. Your ftp space can hold any information you choose, including your personal web page! Each web page on the internet must reside on a computer somewhere. When you type in www.vance.net you are taken to a computer that has a ftp account with the Vance.Net page inside. If you decided to create a web page, you could type in www.users.vance.net/<your user name> and view your page! Since most users do not use this feature, it is not enabled by default. You must notify Vance.Net and let us know to setup your web space. After we notify you that it is enabled, you can use any ftp or web publishing program to access your site.
