Business Computer Services' original internet service was titled Inet4U. After Business Computer Services purchased Vance.Net in addition to it's existing Inet4U service, we literally merged both services into one. The Inet4U name had stuck around ever since we started even after the merger (read our History of Vance.Net for more information). Since more people know the Vance.Net name, we decided to stick with it for simplicities sake. To make it even more confusing, all e-mail may be sent and received using either Inet4U or Vance.Net name. For instance, support@vance.net and support@inet4u.com are actually the same! Even server names are interchangeable, for instance on our advanced server settings page, mail.vance.net is the exact same as mail.inet4u.com! This is necessary for compatibility with our existing Inet4U customers.
So, for the old Inet4U customers, everything is the same as it always has been, you do not need to make any changes, and we haven't made any changes in a long time in regards to the two services. Your bills have been received as Vance.Net for some time now which was a necessary change due to our billing system. You simply are not seeing Inet4U on the www.inet4u.com web page. It will now refer only to Vance.Net.
